Willie D. OBannon or as many call him Chef Willie D., is a Chef, Small Business Owner and Graduate of Northern Illinois University.

Born and Raised in the Humboldt Park and Austin Neighborhoods of Chicago, Il. Chef Willie D. attended Charles Allen Prosser Career Academy where he studied and achieved a trade in the Culinary Arts. Graduating High School in 2009, he later completed a Bachelor of Science in Family Consumer and Nutritional Sciences at Northern Illinois University in 2014.

Since his introduction to the Culinary Arts, Chef Willie D. has spent the vast majority of his lifein a Kitchen. Reinventing and sharpening his tools of the trade every step of the way. Working his way up through the Chicago Food Scene, he has created refined cuisines using Southern, French, Italian and Asian influences. While staying true to his roots, Chef Willie D. surpasses all expectations when creating or serving with Southern Love and Hospitality, even winning Best Tasting Entry for his Buttermilk Biscuits in 2018. He enjoys finding new and exciting food, traveling and anything from the 90’s.
